See You Soon

See You Soon is another Sinful Colors nail polish that my mom got for me. It's a gorgeous dark grey with hints of green/teal shimmers. VERY similar to Sinful Color's Stormy

This picture was taken in direct sunlight indoors (I was right by a window) and I applied it wrong. I did one very thick coat but I should have done two thin coats. It still applied beautifully but I would have had a better outcome if I did it that way instead.

Any other news? Right now I'm sipping on some coffee with Marshmallow Mocha creamer. DELISH! This is my new favorite kind. Hazelnut used to be, but this is amazing. Jeremiah will only drink his coffee in Coconut Cream and it grosses me out. Actually its just the smell. I cannot stand coconuts. I need to introduce him to some new flavors.

The whole vegetarian thing is going OK. I've only had meat 3 times and I feel pretty good about it. One time I asked my mom if she would make breakfast and she made hash browns and bacon... yeah couldn't resist bacon. The second time she made me try a bite of her pork chops so I only had a couple small bites. Yesterday was the WORST! (BAD BRE!) I went to McDonald's (horrible) and got a Sausage McGriddle. I should have just gotten a Sausage & Egg McGriddle and taken off the sausage but I didn't. I was thinking that since I was already supporting McDonald's cruelty that I might as well, but now I feel disgusting. For breakfast I had a half of a large apple with some chunky peanut butter. I got kind of full though, so I only ate half.

Jeremiah will be here in 13 day! YEY! Can't wait to see him.

Luxe Lavender

I went to the flea market yesterday and bought a gorgeous nail polish! I know, kind of a random place to find a decent quality polish. It is by Avon. I've had my good and bad experiences with Avon and I was hesitant to try this polish. In the past I have ordered from Avon in the past; some things are amazing, other suck. But I questioned the Avon Rep. to death and finally decided to get it.

*This is Avon's Luxe Lavender with L.A. Colors Art Deco in White*

This took 2 coats to get the color in the bottle. I've been wanting a color like this for a while, so I'm pretty satisfied. The only problem I have is the brush. It's vey flimsy and almost too long to get a solid look. Other than that though, it applied well and didn't streak.

On a side note, day 3 of Vegetarianism. Going well! Yesterday I babysat and the kids ate pepperoni pizza and I was not tempted to eat it! :) yey. I simply picked it off and enjoyed. I'm so glad things are going well this time. I feel a lot happier and overall better about myself for being able to accomplish this.

VEGetariAN.

In pervious posts, I have mentioned that I was flirting with being a vegetarian. I want to do this because I love animals and just don't want to be a contributer for abuse anymore. I wanted to do this way back in elementary school but my mom always said no. Of course, what mom says goes, so I had to wait util I was an adult to make this decision.

Back in November, I was head set on not eating meat anymore and gave it up until about the middle of January when my boyfriend got me to eat a delicious steak that he prepared just for me (if you could have seen his face, you would understand). Anyway, I lost my battle with being a vegetarian. It's an incredibally hard thing to do when everyone around you is eating things like bacon and steak (which are my weaknesses).

I've been doing more research and have been occasionally getting what I like to call "veggie hits" where I'll want to not eat meat but then something comes up and I cave in.

My main reason for being a Vegetarian is because this picture is cute but this:

IS NOT!!

*Please understand that I'm in NO way whatsoever trying to sway people's opinions or preech about why it's wrong. These are all my opinions and my viewpoints on animal abuse.*

Today is day 2 of my cold turkey (no pun intended) give up of meat. It's going pretty well. The saying goes that the first 3 days are the hardest . . . Let's see if I can keep it up this time?

xoxo,
