Green green

I did another green nail today. Sinful Colors 'San Frisco'

This polish took 4 coats but it was worth it.

Btw. My ring finger is a prime example of what happens when I am at work and bored o_O

Better late than never...

The polish I wore today was one I've shown in a post before. Orly 'Green Apple'

I did the worst thing yesterday so that's why there was no post. I bit my nails off.

I know.

No need to tell me.

I'm horrible.

Anyway, here is another picture :)

No excuses

Except for the fact that I'm a but too lazy to keep up with this blog.

Jeremiah and I are moving out again so we need to start saving money again. I decided to start a "PROJECT PAN" for my nail polish because that is my most excessive beauty product. I will do my best to use up 5 nail polishes by June of 2012. That is going to be a difficult task considering the fact that I have never used an entire bottle before.

Today I have on Sinful Colors 'Mint Apple' which I have posted about before. That color is the closest I have to being gone so I figured it was a good place to start. :)

Here is a refresher on what this color looks like (only one coat):

Spring Nail Polishes!!

Where I live, the weather report and the season are never quite the same . . . yesterday it was sunny and warm . . . today it's clowdy with winds blowing at probably 30MPH, no joke. So when I went to Sally's to get some spring nail polishes today, I was faily disapointed with the weather. Luckily, I had my hair in an up-do so it wasn't getting all over my face :)

I went to Sally's a couple weeks ago and got two polishes that I adored by Orly. One was called Green Apple and the othe was Butterflies. I did my manicure with Butterflies on all of my fingers but my ring fingers. Unfortunately, Butterflies turned out to be a jell consistancy, so I returned it and got the most fabulous blue.

*Quote from All Lacqured Up about Green Apple* :
Green Apple is a vivid lime creme. The bottle color is very deceptive in that the polish dries darker on the nail. It has an almost pastel quality that goes away once applied. And holy pigmentation batman!! I barely needed two coats, it just flows on the nail so perfectly. If you’re looking for a fun spring green, this one is definitely a winner.

I dragged Jeremiah along with me, just because. I couldn't decide on what color to swap it out for. I told him I wanted a creme base (which took a bit for him to understand) and I told him what ones I was leaning toward. Out of his frustration to me for not letting him go to Radio Shack, he kept going "Here's one" or "How about this one?" Then, he did it. He found The One.

Orly: Blue Collar

I love this color of blue! My picture is a bit blurry (or just crappy, I had to brighten it a lot), but I don't care! It's fabulous! This is a two-coater, but they dry super fast and have amazing shine. I love this color and Green Apple as well. :D

YEY for spring!

Show Me The Way

Where I live it's cold. Worse than cold; FREEZING! Last week the thermometer read 27 degrees IN NOVEMBER! It's been insane. Needless to say, I've been craving some warmth. My neighbor Missy and I have started knitting (which I have mentioned before). This is my first creation.

It's not finished but I can't wait for it to be done! Its a scarf that I'm making for my sister. The college she goes to's colors are silver and gold but she thought they were black and gold when I asked her. Oh well.

This is called Knifty Knitting or Loom Knitting. It's basically knitting for people who don't know how to knit. I'm going to keep working on this and eventually I'm going to learn how to knit for real. I can't wait. I'm so excited.

Another thing I've been craving is Christmas. Big surprise though, right?! So, I painted my nails in a beautiful green.

Show Me The Way by Sinful Colors. Beautiful.

It is a sheer color. Took 3 coats to get this result but I am glad I did. Green for Christmas trees and for when the holiday gets closer I'm going to do candy canes on my nails :)

I love Christmas!

xoxo,
