Stormy in August

Yesterday's weather was such a nice change! It rained!! Where I live, it gets to be about 100+ degrees in the summer, so a nice downpour was greatly appreciated. :) Out of some strange coinsidence I painted my nails on Sunday night in SinfulColors Stormy. This color is a dark color but with a surprise pop of color added to it in the right light.

This was taken in the direct sunlight.

I've gotten so many compliments on this color! I'm totally taking advantage of the fall fashion starting to come out and I am LOVINGG it! Can't wait! :) I LoVeE fall && winter.

Oh, I finished Plain Truth. It was good. Different ending than I thought there would be. So now I'm reading Lauren Conrad's Sweet Little Lies. I'm about half-way through it and I like it, but I'm gonna be done with it soon.

Pretty Little Liars season finale was INSANE! I am obsessed with that show! I can't wait for next season!! :)

Busy Bumble-Bre

Sorry I haven't posted in forever! I've been working and really had nothing to say. I got paid yesterday (a whole $144!!) and went to Rite-Aid tonight to get some nail polishes. I got 6, so I will do a blog post with every color I do, when I decide to paint them that color.

I couldn't decide which color to paint first, but the color I chose I am absolutely IN LOVE with! It's by SinfulColors in the color Bamboo. I grabbed this color because it reminded me a lot of OPI's Jade is the New Black but a little bit brighter.
I couldn't get a decent swatch with my camera. It came out a LOT more blue on camera than it really is, but I still adore this color and recommend it to everyone who likes bright teal nail polishes :)

What I love about this color is that it dries very matte. I was expecting a bright color with no shimmers, but this color did have little flecks of sparkle in it (which was a nice surprise) but it dried with no shiny-ness to the top. I've never had a matte nail polish, it's a nice change. I can't stop looking at my nails! oh, I love SinfulColors so much!

I recently have been reading a book my Jodi Picoult called Plain Truth which is about an Amish community that is shaken up by a found dead infant in a barn house. I am only four chapters into it and don't ever want to stop reading!

Also, I am hooked in ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars! I watched all of the episodes earlier this week and cannot wait to see what it going to happen next! I am considering about getting the books (which will more than likely be 10xs better than the show) but I am going to wait until I get a more steady income.

Until next time I will be adoring my new nail polishes, Jeremaih, and my amazing book :)

14 days

Jeremiah is driving up from Colorado in 14 days to pick me up so we can road trip back to his house :) i CANNOT wait! the closer and closer it gets the further away it seems... dangg. I finished L.A. Candy so I decided to pick up one of the books I got for free from my school. It's called Gods Behaving Badly. It's pretty good. It is definatley what I would call an "adult" book. I am into Gree && Roman mythology so this book I am going to get through fast. I just started today and I'm already 11 chapter into it. The chapters are small, and sometimes the names are kind of confusing . . . but I like it :)

blog blah blog

Seriously?! I have not blogged in what seems like FOREVERR!
Ooppss!

I've been reading some really great books :)
Of course.

This is just a little reminder of why I am a vegetarian. It really makes me want to be a vegan because they make it seem so easy. I won't go into my reasons for why, but I'm sure my reasons are similar to a lot of other vegetarians/vegans :)

This book my friend got for me last weekend as a surprise. We were at Boarders (LovE that store) and we were looking for more books to read in the Young Adult section. This one just caught my eye, and I was looking at it, but knew that I had to wait to get it until after graduation because then I'd never get around to reading it.
I had to go to the bathroom and while I was in there, Niki bought it for me! :) Isn't she sweet?!
I LOVE her! So I've been reading it for English (Independent Reading) and I highly suggest it. It is a little typical but I am hooked. I'm only about 80 pages in and I can't put it down.

Today, during my Library Aid class, the head librarian told me to go to a book shelf and pick any of the books I wanted . . . so I did! I grabbed so many but I will definitely post when I start to read them.

So, tonight I've been reading North of Beautiful and farming :) Nice and relaxing. Also, I've been loving my Acai Berry iced tea. YUM!

What am I reading/recomendation

Well, as I have stated before, I have been reading the Twilight Sage. My journey with Twilight hasn't been a very good one. I was kinda not into it when the whole craze started. I've never really been one for obsessive trends. But, one summer day 2 years ago my twin insisted that I start reading Twilight, so I did. I was SOO into it! I couldn't put it down. I kept reading and reading, and I got to the part where all of the Cullens and Belle were at the baseball field and the bad people were coming... then I couldn't read it anymore. To me, it was just so.. teenager-like. So, since then I've seen Twilight and New Moon, and I've made it a goal to actually read the books. I've gotta say, I feel a little awkward carrying around Twilight. I feel like I'm way out of style lol. I am enjoying it more now that I know a little bit more about it, but I am no where near obsessed as some of the girls at my school. I over heard a girl in my Lifetime class having a discussion with her boyfriend about why he doesn't have powers because he's not a vampire. A little weird I think.

One of my favorite time periods in history is the Holocaust. It is soo tragic, but I find it so interesting. My heritage is German and I speak German, so if it helps, I'm totally on the Jews side :) For senior English, my class had to read Night by Elie Wiesel. I seriously COULD NOT put that book down. It is one of my all time favorite books. This book is about one boys story on how he survived the Holocaust. All of the tragedies and hardships he had to go through... ugh. So sad. The way it is written is so soft yet gripping. I loovee it!
