Green green

I did another green nail today. Sinful Colors 'San Frisco'

This polish took 4 coats but it was worth it.

Btw. My ring finger is a prime example of what happens when I am at work and bored o_O

No excuses

Except for the fact that I'm a but too lazy to keep up with this blog.

Jeremiah and I are moving out again so we need to start saving money again. I decided to start a "PROJECT PAN" for my nail polish because that is my most excessive beauty product. I will do my best to use up 5 nail polishes by June of 2012. That is going to be a difficult task considering the fact that I have never used an entire bottle before.

Today I have on Sinful Colors 'Mint Apple' which I have posted about before. That color is the closest I have to being gone so I figured it was a good place to start. :)

Show Me The Way

Where I live it's cold. Worse than cold; FREEZING! Last week the thermometer read 27 degrees IN NOVEMBER! It's been insane. Needless to say, I've been craving some warmth. My neighbor Missy and I have started knitting (which I have mentioned before). This is my first creation.



It's not finished but I can't wait for it to be done! Its a scarf that I'm making for my sister. The college she goes to's colors are silver and gold but she thought they were black and gold when I asked her. Oh well.



This is called Knifty Knitting or Loom Knitting. It's basically knitting for people who don't know how to knit. I'm going to keep working on this and eventually I'm going to learn how to knit for real. I can't wait. I'm so excited.

Another thing I've been craving is Christmas. Big surprise though, right?! So, I painted my nails in a beautiful green.

It is a sheer color. Took 3 coats to get this result but I am glad I did. Green for Christmas trees and for when the holiday gets closer I'm going to do candy canes on my nails :)

Mint Apple

I painted my nails yesterday during my 3 hour break from work (yea, wasn't very happy about it) and I painted them in a color that I was surprised didn't have a blog post yet. I used this color SO MUCH during the summer; literally my 'go to' color. It's probably one of my favorite colors I have from Sinful Colors and it's called Mint Apple. One of the reasons why I love it is because it's different. It's a color that when I bought it, I wasn't so sure, but I am veryy glad I did.

It's a beautiful greenish mint color. Since I don't have the proper camera to show it, it also has gold flecks in it. I am obsessed with this color! I have been loving blue polishes on my nails lately and this one is probably my favorite. I always get compliments when I wear this. And the good thing too is that it's only $1.99 to have this amazing nail polish!

Midnight Blue

Yey! It feels so good to be on my regular schedule of blogging and doing videos again. The other day I painted my nails for the first time in forever. I wasn't 100% sure what color I wanted to pick, so when I was going through my nail polishes, I was a little bit dumbfounded as to how quickly this color grabbed my attention. Yes, it's another Sinful Colors, but this one is fantastic. It's a beautiful royal blue. I love this color; I can't stop looking at my fingers :)

See You Soon

See You Soon is another Sinful Colors nail polish that my mom got for me. It's a gorgeous dark grey with hints of green/teal shimmers. VERY similar to Sinful Color's Stormy



This picture was taken in direct sunlight indoors (I was right by a window) and I applied it wrong. I did one very thick coat but I should have done two thin coats. It still applied beautifully but I would have had a better outcome if I did it that way instead.

Any other news? Right now I'm sipping on some coffee with Marshmallow Mocha creamer. DELISH! This is my new favorite kind. Hazelnut used to be, but this is amazing. Jeremiah will only drink his coffee in Coconut Cream and it grosses me out. Actually its just the smell. I cannot stand coconuts. I need to introduce him to some new flavors.

The whole vegetarian thing is going OK. I've only had meat 3 times and I feel pretty good about it. One time I asked my mom if she would make breakfast and she made hash browns and bacon... yeah couldn't resist bacon. The second time she made me try a bite of her pork chops so I only had a couple small bites. Yesterday was the WORST! (BAD BRE!) I went to McDonald's (horrible) and got a Sausage McGriddle. I should have just gotten a Sausage & Egg McGriddle and taken off the sausage but I didn't. I was thinking that since I was already supporting McDonald's cruelty that I might as well, but now I feel disgusting. For breakfast I had a half of a large apple with some chunky peanut butter. I got kind of full though, so I only ate half.

Jeremiah will be here in 13 day! YEY! Can't wait to see him.

Rich in Heart

I'm about to repaint my nails and I realized that I never posted a swatch for the color I have on now. I ususally post a swatch after I paint my nails, but it's probably because I painted them so late that night and got too tired :) My mom picked me up some Sinful Colors nail polishes at Walgreens one day and this is one of those colors. (Haul video inserted below)

I picked this color because my favorite color is brown and this was the closest to brown that my mom picked. Here is a swatch that I got of the color in direct sunlight.


I think this color is fantastic. It makes me feel very 'fall' if that makes sense? :P I'm def going to be reaching for this color a lot this season. Thanks mommy!

Oh, other news! BIG NEWS! Jeremiah got the job and is moving back!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! He's moving back in a couple of weeks and is gonna stay with me for a month or two then we're gonna get a place of our own. I'm so excited. 6 months (almost 7) of a long distance relationship is long :( I could never be a military wife because at least I know that Jere would be safe. . . They've got a lot more guts than I do.

Also, I love country music. A lot. I'm watching CMT's Top 20 Countdown as I type this. If anyone has any bands that they like or songs PLEASE let me know :) I'm kind of a music junkie. But I love me some country. All the time.
