blog blah blog

Seriously?! I have not blogged in what seems like FOREVERR!
Ooppss!

I've been reading some really great books :)
Of course.

This is just a little reminder of why I am a vegetarian. It really makes me want to be a vegan because they make it seem so easy. I won't go into my reasons for why, but I'm sure my reasons are similar to a lot of other vegetarians/vegans :)

This book my friend got for me last weekend as a surprise. We were at Boarders (LovE that store) and we were looking for more books to read in the Young Adult section. This one just caught my eye, and I was looking at it, but knew that I had to wait to get it until after graduation because then I'd never get around to reading it.
I had to go to the bathroom and while I was in there, Niki bought it for me! :) Isn't she sweet?!
I LOVE her! So I've been reading it for English (Independent Reading) and I highly suggest it. It is a little typical but I am hooked. I'm only about 80 pages in and I can't put it down.

Today, during my Library Aid class, the head librarian told me to go to a book shelf and pick any of the books I wanted . . . so I did! I grabbed so many but I will definitely post when I start to read them.

So, tonight I've been reading North of Beautiful and farming :) Nice and relaxing. Also, I've been loving my Acai Berry iced tea. YUM!

D-Day

Today was the day I presentation. It went pretty well. I was still nervous but I think I passed. One of my favorite teachers was on my panel so I think that helped A LOT! I was so nervous tho! I was shaking like a leaf!!! haha. Oh well. It's over!

Afterwords, my friend Niki and I went to the mall (even tho we didn't have any money) and just had fun. I fell in LOVEEE with three things! Omg. First was an adorable Coach bag. I've been wanting to get one for myself for graduation that is timeless. I don't want one that will not match with many outfits and will not get super out of style fast either. The 'C's are more of a gray color than it is shown in the picture. My god. I fell in LOVE! the second I saw it I was head over heels. It's $298, but I think it's definitely worth it :)

The next thing is a boxer puppy :) I LOVEEE boxers. I used to have one named Racheal and she was my baby. I loved her veryyy much and when I move into a house where I can have a dog, my mom said she would buy me one! And I cannnnooootttt wait!
This is the little guy I saw at PetCity. He was very skinny and it was so so sad (I completely disagree with pet shops, but a shelter is no where near the mall).
I named him Ross for my princess Racheal.
He would play around with my hair and bite my ankles, which really hurt. He's got sharpp teeth! He loved me very much! He was $1119, just a wee bit out of my price range ;)

Finally. The third thing. This is a big deal for me because I'm extremely picky when it comes to smells. I stopped by Victoria's Secrete on my way out of the mall and tried out some of their new scents. They had a couple that were okay, but the one that got me sold was the Island Paradise.

It has Coconut water and pineapple. It sounds weird but I swear! It's the best smell on the universe! I HATE coconut and mango so for me to like this is kinda a big deal! I cannot even explain how in love with this scent I am. VS is having a sale this weekend on at least those new scents that are buy 7 get one free. So you get 8 of them for $35. I NEED THIS SMELL! It's a limited edition too :( I hope it makes it out to it's permanent collection.

Well, that was my day. Make up was very neutral and professional. At VS I added some teal under my eyes, which I do all the time! Off to read my Fitness magazine :) loves.

Senior Project

So, senior project is tomorrow!
I'm one of the few people who isn't stressing out, but that's because I've taken speech before and learned not to stress over a little thing like that.
That being said, I have been planning my outfit like CRAZY and hair and makeup.
Good news is, I had a great excuse to buy some new nail polish :)
I got a pink/salmon color to be more professional than the green.
In real life, the color turned out a shade of in between the first and second fingers. I like this color. It's a warm cool color. Different than the stuff I'm used to :)

What am I reading/recomendation

Well, as I have stated before, I have been reading the Twilight Sage. My journey with Twilight hasn't been a very good one. I was kinda not into it when the whole craze started. I've never really been one for obsessive trends. But, one summer day 2 years ago my twin insisted that I start reading Twilight, so I did. I was SOO into it! I couldn't put it down. I kept reading and reading, and I got to the part where all of the Cullens and Belle were at the baseball field and the bad people were coming... then I couldn't read it anymore. To me, it was just so.. teenager-like. So, since then I've seen Twilight and New Moon, and I've made it a goal to actually read the books. I've gotta say, I feel a little awkward carrying around Twilight. I feel like I'm way out of style lol. I am enjoying it more now that I know a little bit more about it, but I am no where near obsessed as some of the girls at my school. I over heard a girl in my Lifetime class having a discussion with her boyfriend about why he doesn't have powers because he's not a vampire. A little weird I think.

One of my favorite time periods in history is the Holocaust. It is soo tragic, but I find it so interesting. My heritage is German and I speak German, so if it helps, I'm totally on the Jews side :) For senior English, my class had to read Night by Elie Wiesel. I seriously COULD NOT put that book down. It is one of my all time favorite books. This book is about one boys story on how he survived the Holocaust. All of the tragedies and hardships he had to go through... ugh. So sad. The way it is written is so soft yet gripping. I loovee it!
